This session is tailored to grade 7 math teachers. In this session, we will explore Alberta Education's NEW grade 6 math curriculum to gain a comprehensive understanding of the outcomes and pedagogical philosophy of the curriculum to effectively prepare students for the transition to grade 7. We will explore the continuity between the programs of study and identify areas of overlap to ensure a smooth transition for students, addressing any potential gaps in understanding.
