In the many culturally diverse classrooms in ECSD, teachers and school staff face the critical responsibility of addressing racial slurs, homophobic slurs, and derogatory language with sensitivity and effectiveness. This session is created with junior and senior high school teachers seeking practical strategies to navigate and respond to this type of language within their school communities.
